President Opening Comments: None
Approval of the prior minutes: Tonia motioned to accept minutes with corrections, Anthony 2nd , motion carries.
Treasurer’s Report and approval: Wendy motioned to accept as presented, Dan 2nd, motion carries.
Old Business
1. City map cartoon (Committee)- Add Ridgeway construction.
2. May Self Defense Class- Income was $245.01
New Business
- Business of the Month(LeeAnn)-Klip joint
2. Quick Books for invoices – Dan motioned $30 a month to cover fee, John 2nd, motion carries.
3. Zucchini Festival- Grange President Susan Hanks presented Zucchini Fest asking for sponsors. Tonia motioned $500, Dan 2nd, motion carries.
4.Country Faire- The Chamber has not been approached yet regarding Country Faire.
5. June Mixer- 6-24-24 at 6PM. Details to be worked out by committee Tonia motioned $500 for a comedy night, Stacey 2nd , motion carries. Dan motioned $253 for 2 banners for events, Troy 2nd, motion carries.
6.Website- LeeAnn pointed out John has been doing additional work on website.
7. Lilliete mentioned Agricultural scholarship. Troy motioned for $500 agricultural scholarship, Anthony 2nd, motion carries.
Other Comments or Concerns-
Director Comments: Stacey- RLH Grad May 30th. Cathey mentioned Farm and Tractor Days coming up on May 17th and 18th. Troy thanked the Directors for all the work put in to give Rio Linda /Elverta a Chamber. Tonia- June 8th craft fair 825 M. St. Rio Bible Quizzers selling annual Tri Tip dinners.
Public Comments: Kaden, and Aryana talked about the Jr Grange Goat project.
